How can we show God’s love?
By taking care of those who are unable to take care of themselves. Like widows and orphans. How can we look at those who are helpless and turn a blind eye? Is this the example we are taught?

James also says we should refuse to let the world corrupt us. I think about the parable about the leaven. (Matthew 13:33) While this parable is talking about the kingdom of God, we can look at the leaven example two ways.
We can be a positive influence on the world and let God’s love spread to those around us.
OR
A little bit of worldly corruption can seep into us and keep growing until it consumes us.
